Things to Bring
We will have technical support roaming the full course in SAG vehicles. There will some locations where it will be more difficult for SAG wagons to frequent, but when you have these things with you, we can get you up and running lickety split.
And remember, don't forget to hydrate, hydrate and...hydrate.
- A hard bike helmet - no helmet, no ride, no exceptions.
- Good brakes and good tires. All of our courses have extremely steep downhills with possible wet and/or rough pavement.
- Bike gearing for climbing. We recommend 39 on front and 28 on back, triple or compact.
- Two large (20 oz) waterbottles.
- ibuprophen or aspirin, if you're used to taking these during long rides
- Small tire patch kit.
- Two innertubes that fit your bike.
- Small tire pump or CO2 inflators.
- Tire levers. Save your fingers...you will need them to eat the tasty food when you get done.
- Folding toolkit.
- Long-sleeved jacket
- Arm/leg warmers. It is possible you will encounter inclement weather at some point.
- Cell phone. Not for talking while riding (that's not allowed) but to contact us for SAG on-demand!
- Money. Just in case.
- Proper identification in case of emergencies.
