I was very impressed by the organization of the event considering how complex the course was. We did 100 miles and everything was perfect. You are running the best cyclotourist event in Colorado. Thank you!
As a Deer Creek Mesa, I want to thank you for a incredibly quite and peaceful weekend in Deer Creek. We now know that 80% of weekend traffic is recreational...the traffic noise of midwinter, but warm enough to be outside. You should have a race every weekend. Thanks!
Thank you for a very well organized and fun cycling experience. You folks ROCK!!!! Everyone was on top of the event and nice and fun to deal with. The SAG crews were always ready to lend a hand. Even the entrants showed a certain amount of respect for the event and the laws we rode under...I hope we can do this again next year. Oh, the jerseys are killer!
I have been in MANY rides over the years and your event yesterday was the BEST ORGANIZED bicycle ride that I've been on! I was so impressed! KUDOS to you and all of the wonderful volunteers! I really can not say enough great things about this ride!
What an incredible event!! You guys blew the doors off. I do around 15-17 century rides throughout Colorado and various other States during the year. Your aid stations and overall support from volunteers was outstanding. At first I was skeptical of having to repeat City View, but it turned out the course was very challenging and separated the men from the boys…especially with City View the second time around.
Yesterday was an epic ride and a great time because of all your work. Aid stations started awesome and stayed awesome right to the end. It was extremely well thought out and planned for a first-time event. Riders, volunteers marshals and locals were super polite and friendly. Whoever had the ice there for our empty water bottles at the last stop before city view #2 deserves a medal - it was a lifesaver.
I rode in a bike event nearly every weekend this summer. DCC was by far the best - great start and finish venue, challenging and well-marked course, delicious food, friendly volunteers (I appreciate the aid stations staying open later than most rides/no cut-off time for us slow-pokes at the back of the pack), free massages, free food and beer, good police support, nice jerseys. The century [jersey] was a great incentive-- it may have taken me 10+ hours on the bike, but I earned it!. Thank you!
Life is good. That ride, on the other hand, was brutal! I did the century, and came through the finish delirious after the final climb. Tell the organizers they succeeded in designing the hardest century course I’ve ever experienced!
